I thought I as through waiting for school buses a long time ago...but noooo I hadda go have kids.

getting up at 6am to get a kid outa bed is no fun...but then again...its the first day and he's actually eager to go... ("is it time yet"?)

He'll get over THAT soon enough.

I remember Derek as a toddler, but I really met him when he was a little older, so I have less trouble picturing him as an eighth grader.

What will really freak us out is when our kids have kids going to school.

That's what my mom says! "Wait until your *kids* are middle-aged, and *they* have teenagers!" LOL!
