The Castle on Versailes Road

Those of you who  used to live in lLexington (and surrounding areas) may remember the castle on Versailes road.

It's on fire tonight.

It looks like there won't be much left.

Haven't heard yet. Apparently the fire started at like 8:30 last night.

The images on the news this morning were very depressing... It's burnt pretty bad.

Somebody bought it not long ago and they were renovating....they had some trenches dug and the fire fighters had trouble getting to the fire because of them.

So sad! The castle is really irreplaceable.

Yeah... it was one of those "givens" for anyone who lives/lived in the area...
