Organizing
Mar. 25th, 2004 07:47 amI couldn't sleep last night so I got back up and started organizing some things.
Moved the canned goods from a cabinet to a metal shelf unit. Took the shelves on it and moved them closer together.
I had been keeping snacks and candy and tools on the shelf. Moved the tools to the utility area of the downstairs restroom. (which envolved going through the board games and puzzles to make room)
I put the candy and some canned goods we don't use often in the cabinet that the canned goods were in.
Now the spaces are better organized and we should have more room for the canned goods.
In other news I drug my unicycle out of storage yesterday and pumped up the tire...It seems to be holding air.
I need to replace the pedals...they are rusted pretty bad. I should probably sand down the body and seat post too..they have a bit of rust on them. Then I should paint them. I was thinking black, but now I'm not sure... maybe a cherry red or something.
It's chrome on the forks and flat black on the seat support now.
Maybe three colors...one for the spokes and wheel, one for the forks and one for the seat support and pedal bars?
Anyway, I really should get back into riding the thing...it's been well over a year. Tried it briefly yesterday after I pumped up the tire and had no trouble, so apparently once you learn to balance on the thing you don't lose that skill through lack of practice.
