Jun. 29th, 2007 02:39 pmI just finished mowing...well the actual grass cutting part. I haven't run the weed eater yet.
Last time I mowed I had a lot of trouble with the mower stalling out...it got worse and worse as I mowed until it would run for a few seconds and die no matter what.
I had cleaned the carburetor when we first got it and it ran decently for a while after that...so I cleaned it again that day (with better tools (a needle instead of a safety pin actually)).
It ran great the rest of that day.
When I went out to mow today it started right up and didn't quit on me once...(slowed down for some thick spots...but thats all)
I even lowered the blade closer to the ground (I'd raised it higher than I like because of the stalling).
I got about 3/4 done with the front yard when it started sprinkling...I figured well I'll finish the front no matter what even if it starts raining hard....and I kept going...sprinkling lasted about 2 minutes....I didn't even get wet.
I went on to do the back yard. ...I got mostly done with it...All I had left was about 10 square feet around the bench under the large tree...when it started sprinkling again...I kept going....I got done and noticed that it was actually raining pretty good...the tree was keeping a good portion of it off me....I got wet running with the lawnmower to the shed to put it away though.
I might go out and eat the weeds if the rain stops....which it looks like it has already.
