gazerwolfJust sent my van off to my favorite mechanic.
The other day my brother spotted fluid that looked like transmission fluid under the front end...turns out it was transmission fluid.
Since we are relatively solvent right now we decided a professional should fix it.
So the tow truck came to take it for it's estimate.
If it's cheap enough we're gonna try to get more things fixed while he's at it.
It had a broken motor mount for instance...that and transmission are mission one.
Back brake shoes need replacing...next on the list.
Power steering leaks...next.
Then we get into the nice but not necessary field:
AC (hasn't worked since we got the van)
Passenger Window Power (drive belt broke)
Heater (Suspect clogged heater core)
We basically plan to say stop when it starts costing too much. Hopefully our stopping point is above EVERYTHING on our list....in any case we should have a fairly functional van when this is done.
