Those of you who read
starsongky 's journal may already know this...but we got the house today.
She did all the footwork...and impressed the loan officer with her organization.
Anyway...we're moving...
Those of you who have Duryea's old address on Liberty road...that's gonna be us now....make changes.
If you don't have that address and want it just email me at my livejournal username at gmail dot com and I'll reply with it. Our phone number is supposed to stay the same.

Date: 2007-03-14 11:36 am (UTC)I just remembered something!
Date: 2007-04-17 06:12 pm (UTC)Anyway! That outlet (or was it a light?) only works when the phone is in use? I have a memory suddenly that they used to wire up a light (or some other flashy device - but usually just a light) or whole series of lights as a ring indicator for deaf people who had phones and tty machines. This probably still exists, even. But I've definitely heard of it and it seems like a good idea.
So! I wonder if someone who owned the house before Duryea was maybe hard of hearing and you have a device installed somewhere that you don't know about. And they probably just used another light for room lighting, or other outlets, or whatever. You get the idea.
(Hopefully this was you talking about this problem. If not, dammit dammit dammit! I have to remember who it was.)
